Introduction to video production groups

Today we got put into groups of three I was with Linda and Callum, we had to find different creepy/unique adverts to do for our video production lesson. We also had to get to know each other more to find out what sort of stuff we're good at and what stuff we wouldn't want to do or wouldn't feel comfortable doing such as Callum would be good at talking in front of the camera but Linda wouldn't. We also had to chose what roles we wanted to do, Linda and Callum are going to act and i'm going to be recording it.

We had to watch the different camera angles to choose the right ones for our advert to get ideas to help us when we do our own. the adverts we looked at was the cadburys eyebrow advert, A phones 4U advert and the drench puzzle advert. because they were either related to food/drinks as we were doing a chocolate advert or they were quite creepy or different such as the phones 4U advert.

Group advert task- perfume

                                                           Today we designed a product for a perfume a 25-year old rich business woman would be interested to buy called perfume exotic so that it sounded more sophisticated as it was a perfume for a rich woman. We had to create a slogan and a bottle for it as a group. For the advert we had a beach theme so we did the bottle round and had a see through blue colour so that its the same colour as the sea, 

We made the price at £35.00. The logo for the product was the perfume and a woman on the beach. Today I learned how to work well with other people as we all have something to contribute to the team and to listen to other people's ideas as to what they also want to contribute. 

Ghostly images

Today we used Photoshop to create a ghostly image, We chose two images off google one for the background and one of a person to put in the background, We had to cut the persons outline out with the pen tool so that its just the person in the photo, we then had to copy the picture of the person onto the background and use some effects to make it faded so that it would look like a ghost.

In mine I chose a picture of a man in a suite for the first one and had the background as a forest, for the second one I chose a picture of a clown in a train station because a lot of people are afraid of clowns and it might make it more creepy.
